  1. Lori Stancill say:

It was a ok stay. The room was clean and updated. My husband and I went for a night for my birthday and we ate at Gregorys and the food was fantastic. We normally stay at Casablanca and I do like how their hotel was attached to the Casino. I do want to comment that the staff was very friendly at Eureka.

One flaw however at 8am someone I assume was housekeeping tried to enter our room but didn’t tell us who or what they were. We requested a noon checkout. Needless to say it startled us and we couldnt get back to sleep so we left.

  33. Shanna Terry Strasburg say:

After looking around our room I wondered if we had mistakenly wandered into a motel 6, the bathroom was falling apart (shower floor covered in cracked and cheap patches) and filthy. There were actually cobwebs and dirt in the corners of the floor from lack or cleaning. The furniture was cheap and wobbly, and the windows are thin and let in all the noise from the pool and garden area. Save your money, and go elsewhere.

  34. Bruce Baker say:

  55. Brittani Hunsicker say:

My favorite casino in mesquite! they are the best all around!

  56. Jay Gietl say:

Pulled up to the casino by mistake (first time here). Valet guy watched us unload the car. Didn’t budge. Once I drove off to park tells my wife the hotel entrance is up the road. First off, valet should greet you, second once he saw us set a bag down he could have at least yelled since it was too much for him to get off his seat. I don’t expect Vegas treatment in Mesquite, just some common courtesy from the staff. The rooms may be decent here, but treated better at the Casa Blanca.

  57. Amanda Graham say:

We always have an amazing time when we’re here..hotel it affordable, food is great and the staff is always on their A game!!! Will definitely be back!

My husband and I had dinner at the buffet. While the food was good, the old man ( I think his name was Tom), was awful! I’ve never been treated so rude! We won’t be returning. I’ll eat at the Virgin River from now on.

  69. Lily Nielsen say:

I love the eureka but I haven’t won any money in along time 6 year’s ago I won 1500 that was fun. I go about twice a month.

  70. Amy White say:

  71. Victoria Strandberg say:

They play favorites to locals for setting in poker room

  72. Jason Negus say:

Excellent Overall Casino. Staff is SUPER friendly especially in bingo hall! Best Casino experience in Mesquite HANDS DOWN

  77. Douglas L McAulay say:

My girlfriend and I love to stop and play Bingo here all the people are so nice and helpful.

  78. Laura Kaui Loring say:

My husband and I probably had one of the best prime rib dinners that we’ve ever had served by a great waiter in the not the buffet but the other restaurant the café. Afterwards there was a live music playing, a wonderful piano player, sorry didn’t get his name and we really really enjoyed listening to him overall it was a great experience

  79. Felicia Isbell say:

Great alternative to Vegas. Clean rooms, great pool, great food. Definitely a nice place to just get away and enjoy a few days in the sun.

  80. Colleen Maxey-Smith say:

We only spent one night. Had a fabulous dinner at the Mesquite Grill!

  81. Dave Shuey say:

I’ve been coming to Eureka for 9yrs with a group of golfers that have been coming for even longer. The place is incredible. Great golf packages and awesome staff- whether it be at the hotel or casino. Every year is better then the last, which is incredible. Best vacation ever!!!

  82. Lían Luccia Moreno say:
  83. Miquel Noah say:

Service was excellent, food was amazing, had fun playing some keno!

  84. Doug Karen Hackford say:

  85. Brenda HeywoodWalker say:
  86. Bertha Cruz say:

Es Buenisimo me encantos sombre todo el buffe riquisimo .

  87. Dee Dee Matthews say:

The Eureka is nice enough however, they’re not too interested in what’s best for their customers. My husband is disabled and when he walks up the steps going to the casino, he needs a handrail to steady himself and there is one, except that it is painted a very dark brown. For five years now, I have suggested that they paint that handrail white because in the high heat of summer, it is too hot to hang on to. I’ve talked to staff and managers and security with my suggestion and here it is 5 years later… it is still dark brown as of my last visit at Thanksgiving. I didn’t ask for Eureka to remodel the casino to accommodate people who needed to use handrail, I merely asked that they paint it white. Too much to ask of a multi-million dollar casino, I guess.

  88. Brittany Petro say:

Stayed in the Paramount suite for our wedding weekend. Staff was extremely nice and accommodating. The room was amazing. Big enough for all my bridesmaids to get ready in, but warm and relaxing enough to unwind in. Would definitely stay there again!

  89. Charlie Van Tassel say:

Stayed at the casino hotel, the rooms were nice size but really felt that for a casino hotel it was overpriced. Used the casino and spent a lot of money on the tables and was not offered a comp for anything. In the morning inquired about breakfast and was told they had coffee and apples and if you wanted more then the casino would be an option or McDonalds. For the price of the hotel a small continental should be available. I will not be stopping there again.

  90. Rebekah Sunni Tincher say:

We stayed in the Hotel. It was clean, very nice and the beds were extremely comfortable. The concierge were very nice and the cost was very acceptable. All in all it was a great stay.

  91. Karen Kartchner say:

Nice people great service! Even though we only stayed the one night it’s a great spot to stop!!!!!!!!

  92. Kary Jo Hooker say:

Beautiful rooms! Beautiful views! Amazing staff!! We loved it here! Can’t wait to come back!!!!

  93. Michelle van Ginkel say:

Even though they allow smoking it didn’t seem like it. It was well ventilated. The employees were very pleasant and helpful.

  94. Daniel Teachey say:

I am a truck driver.. Was craving a buffet before i went on into Utah.. Stopped across street and thought i would try it out.. Sadly the time of day i was there, the buffet had not started yet.. So went to secondary restaurant and must say i had one of the best Prime Ribs i have ever had.. Before i left i played $20 on a penny slot and walked out with $391 hit.. So over all i was very satisfied and plan to make it my normal stop when out that way..

  95. Lion Harris say:

Of course I love it! I opened the place before we even had it full of slot machines!
Eureka is my second home and some of the most wonderful people I opened the place with still work there! It’s had many transformations since and it looks great!

  96. Natasha McClafferty say:
  97. Colleen McCleve McCashland say:

Best smelling, cleanest cassino, great cafe, fun super bowl party!

  98. Robert J Radcliffe say:

Need some truck parking, they wanted $18 across the street for over nite parking so I left.

  99. Brian Dirt Hansen say:

Have never won any money here , and there food is sub-par. The Virgin River is great in my book

  100. Timothy Toepel say:

I went there to have some breakfast, the buffet, not good, eggs ok, salsa not good, barely warm bacon, sausage, greasy, chick fried steak, sucked out of freezer, I would not recommend or go there again

  101. Rosario Maytorena Arispuro say:
  102. Donna MacBean say:

Great staff and great food and a great spa. Wonderful day

  103. Loretta Guyett say:

We ate at Gregory’s in there, the fine dining restaurant. The food was incredible. My husband had the steak and he’d said it was the best he ever had. I had the baked stuffed shrimp, which was awesome. They give you 5 huge stuffed shrimp. It came with scalloped potatoes which was delicious. Even though I lost at the blackjack table, the food made it worth it.

  104. Melissa Peterson McVay say:
  105. Charles William Nelson say:
  106. Mike Biggs say:

On short notice, Eddie was awesome. I didn’t expect much from the room… bad mistake. The bed? Better than my temperpedic the cleanliness of the room defiantly passed my black light inspection. Everything neat, clean and worked. I went out of my way to speak to EVERY EMPLOYEE I saw. I was extremely impressed. This will be my new travel home when in town. Thanks to all Staff.

  107. Darwin Barrie say:

keep the buffet open till 10 on friday and saturday you lost 1000.00 to resturants susies and lupes. other than that great place and nice accommodations. golf group of 12 .

  108. Craig Larson say:

I enjoyed my first Seafood Buffet in quite some time. Everything was delicious except for the mussels which were a bit chewy.

  109. Ellann Olsen say:

Walked away with $358 just before going back to the hotel on a penny machine. Seldom gamble so was very happy.

  110. Mary Hough say:

Everything was grea. If you can eat at their Gregory Restaurant ask for George. He makes it a dining experience! !

  111. Steven James Prow say:

The only thing that was inconvenient was that the hotel and casino are separate, but they do have large golf cart to shuttle people back and forth if they are disabled or just too lazy to walk.

  112. Cobarrubias Guijosa Jazely say:
  113. David Grajeda-Delgado say:

Good food Ambiance is okay parking his fair restaurant service is okay lots of slot machines and other items but since I don’t gamble I don’t know what’s there…….

  114. Craig Smith say:

Very nice place. Easy on and off, just sucks that you have to pay for truck parking. The Breakfast Buffet was reasonably priced and had the basics. Will definitely go back when I am heading through there and have time to stop

  115. Chris Moore say:

You guys need better hookers less toothy bjs……

  116. Shirley Garcia say:

We ate at Gregory’s. I had the crab legs and they were great. My husband had a steak and it was grissley. Was a little disappointed because we have never had that problem before.

  117. Charlotte Borja say:

This reviews I’m writing is for the Eureka on Sahara in Vegas , not the resort. .. Cheap waitresses,, hookers and trannys are all you see in there..and two tramps who smell like they always need DEODORANT Karina and Tatiana who work there only serve guys who flirt and tip big. WORST DIVE CASINO ever in Vegas.

  118. Jon Gibson say:

Great place. Love the food and gambling. I would recommend staying here.

  119. Roma Gleed say:

Our room was not real clean with hair and plastic prices from clothing tags all over in the bathroom. The pool and hot tubs were full of grasshoppers, crickets, moths, bees and garbage. One of the hot tubs did not have working jets. There were dirty towels laying everywhere. Staff walked by the mess to smoke. The casino had dirty ashtrays everywhere and my drink from the day prior was still sitting by the same machine.
Very disappointing for a resort with the high cost.

  120. Tó'aheedlíinii Mą'ii Deeshgiizhinii say:
  121. Heidi Culver say:

COUPLES BEWARE!!!! We made a reservation for a 3 night stay in a suite which ended up being a 1 nighter. At 10 pm my wife and I are dead asleep when we are awaken by children slamming doors the room next to ours. This went on for about an hour, teenagers running down the halls, kids slamming doors, and bouncing off the walls once inside their rooms. At 1130pm, one of the kids actually started banging on our door. I got up out of bed and answered the door but the kid just entered the room next to us. This was the last straw…I had enough and called the front desk to advised them of the situation and requested security to handle the problem. 20 minutes later the noise continued and kids jumping off the beds and walls nextdoor. I went into hall to find the security guard who was standing about 20 rooms down. I approached the security guard and told him what room was causing the DISTURBANCE in the first place. He stated, “I was told there were just kids running down the hallways.” He knocked on the culprit’s door and the noise stopped…. for about 5 minutes before the kids started to play “ninja fight” while the “mom” was inside the entire time. UNACCEPTABLE! I went down to the front desk and told them about my experience and her response was “Well this is a family friendly hotel… we need to give them a chance to stop.” I said its midnight and this has been going on for about 2 hours. The front desk clerk ROLLED HER EYES at me then stated “Well I could try to find you another room but there’s no guarantee that there wont be children around.” I further explained that your hotel staff was fully aware that this was our anniversary in a deluxe suite and expected more for your hotel, and questioned why you would put a family of at least 4-5 with young children next to us in the first place. The front desk member was simply not sympathetic about our situation, continued to HEAD BOB, roll her eyes, and acted like we were INCONVENIENCING her. At 1215 in the morning, with little sleep and LACK OF BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS, I told her to cancel the rest of the stay, SPA PACKAGE, and DINNER RESERVATIONS (which was easily over $1,000) in loss of revenue for the EUREKA HOTEL and CASINO.

OOHHH it gets better!!!! The same morning I get a return phone call from the Front Desk Manager, who the tells me that since we left the hotel at MIDNIGHT we will STILL be CHARGED for the SPA PACKAGE and the “night” stay. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE CONTINUES!!!!

  122. Linda Bruner Sperry say:
  123. Deb Ebensberger say:

Clean room, amazing pool area, and awesome price. Short walk through parking lot to casino for pretty good food!

  124. Danny Clemente say:

Rooms are really clean. Staff are really nice and non judgmental. Poolside and jacuzzi was awesome. Nice place to stay and get away. Ernesto in the evening shift Thank you! Must stay here if your passing thru Nevada on your way to Vegas!

  125. Elayne Marie Ledesma say:
  126. Bryan Honley say:

$4 parking for a 26′ trailer pulling a loaded car dolly. Walked in with $25, left w/ $200 and had the best lunch buffet. Good time with my dad and would like to return when I visit Vegas on my 40th! Thanks Eureka Casino!

  127. Horne Dennis say:

$5 a beer way too much… somehow all the Blackjack dealers always win…

  128. Gonzales Alfonso say:

Machines don’t really pay out, bingo parlor pays out better than machines. The cock tail waitresses suck good luck getting a drink long waiting times., Virgin River is better.

  129. Ines Maria Guzman say:

First time.. Its so clean! Nice ppl! Big beds! Era la primera vez de mis hijos we divertieron mucho a peliar con las almuadas bien limpias y bien grandotas!! Quiero ir otra vez….. . …………………………………..

  130. Deanna Bow say:

As Long As I’ve Lived In A Town Near By, I’ve Really Never Been To The Eureka But Once Or Twice And My Aunt Took Me To Eat There Yesterday For A Early Birthday Dinner, I Ordered The Chicken Fried Steak, It Came With Mashed Potatoes And Vegetables, It Was Awesome

  131. Maureen Barber-Kjornes say:

We didn’t stay at the Eureka Casino but they had the worst buffet we have been to. The behind the counter staff very unfriendly, food was not good and very few choices. One item was beans with ham, I can have that at home. For 15.99 per person, total waste of our money.

  132. Mary Kaustinen say:

Very clean and didn’t smell of smoke. Only thing is the hotel is across the parking lot and in the heat of the desert and a night of drinking it’s not a good thing. They need a shuttle to come around every hour or something. Very nice rooms.

  133. David N Mika Hibbs say:

We had rented our rooms for a bachelorette party and at 1000 started to play some of our games we brought. At 1130 3 big security guards came to our room to tell us that this is the 2nd time we were told to be quiet and that they would bring the cops next time. There was only 1 room by ours and it was an adjoining room. Around 11 the people in the other room had knocked on the adjoining room door and scared us but we just thought it was little kids being kids and continued on with our game. Next thing we know we’re being threatened with cops and told this was the 2nd time they told us to be quiet. We had never been warned by anyone not 1 time before security showed up. Then to have 3 big guys come to our room was quite scary. After that we just all went back to our own rooms and one of the ladies stopped at the front desk to complain. While she was down there the security guard was rude to her again very confrontational. Very aggressive towards her while she was trying to explain OUR side of all of this. So so ridiculous. I will never stay here again and I will never recommend to anyone to stay here. If I could give negative stars I so would have.

  134. Shelby J Rollo say:

I just spent my bachelorette party here, and the hotel was perfect up until about 10:30.
We were playing a game in my hotel room (mind you, we barely even had a buzz from our drinks. No loud music, no banging, nothing loud or reckless). The game was “Heads Up”, it’s so much fun and it really makes you laugh. I admit, the ladies in my family (including myself) have loud laughs. We only started playing for about 15 minutes, then 11 rolls around and all of a sudden we get a knock on our door. 3 HUGE security men were standing there and they were livid. One of them told us they had received a noise complaint, and we had already been warned once to be quiet (which we had not been warned, at all). So we told them “no, we haven’t”. He then went on to tell us, “well you get one warning, and the next time we come up here the police will be with us”. This is at 11 pm, on a SATURDAY NIGHT, in Mesquite! Plus the fact the only sounds we were making were us laughter!! No music, nothing!! After they left, we were even afraid that a small giggle would disturb the people next door (who were obviously the ones who complained), so everyone pretty much just left my room and went to sleep. My bachelorette party was ruined. Keep in mind that we are extremely respectful people. We weren’t walking around the hotel drunk, we weren’t disturbing guests, we are very polite people. If we would have even just received one call, or if someone came and calmly told us to quiet down, we would have done so immediately. But instead, we were threatened by 3 men who never even cared to hear what we had to say.
One of my family members ended up complaining to the front desk about our very negative experience. The man who had threatened us came over to speak to her and he was aggressive towards her!! He told her that we’re lucky they didn’t bring the cops up with them the first time, and that we should learn a lesson from being loud!! He would not listen to a word she had to say, then proceeded to slam a card down on the counter and said, “call my manager yourself”, and left! She was in tears at this point because of his aggression and intimidation towards her. It was awful! This whole situation was blown TOTALLY out of proportion, and did NOT need to be handled the way it did at all. This is completely unacceptable behavior from hotel staff. To say the least, I will NEVER be staying her again, and I truly hope no one else has the same experience. It’s really a shame that hotel staff/ security can totally ruin your whole experience.

If you’re planning on having nighttime fun, this is NOT the hotel for you. To be perfectly honest, the hotel itself was nice, pool area was great and daytime staff were very polite. Biggest complaint for me is the security. We were told that our party was too loud at 11:00 p.m. and threatened that if they had to return, they would bring the police. We were NEVER warned prior to their appearance. No phone call. No courtesy visit. Nothing…. When they were confronted at the front desk, the security manager slammed down his card and we were told to contact his supervisor on Tuesday. VERY unprofessional. I will never return to the Eureka Hotel again and gladly drive the extra hour to Las Vegas….???

Just passing through Nevada on a road trip with my husband. We didn’t want to stay on the Vegas strip as it’s to busy for us. Glad we stopped here. Clean rooms and nice pool area. Had a great meal at Gregory’s as good as any high end restaurant on the strip.

One of the best places we’ve ever stayed at. The staff is AAA as well as the casino. Like Vegas of the early ’60’s.

My husband, our 12yr old and I stopped for the night on our way back to California from Utah. We arrived about 7:30 pm and with no reservation. I was very pleased that we had no problem getting a room. Jake at the front desk was very informative about EVERYTHING the hotel and casino had to offer! Even though we were only visiting for 1 night, he made sure we knew it all. Even that there was a “secret” candy machine on the 3rd floor… Lol. He really made us feel welcomed. Our room was clean and absolutely beautiful! My only complaints are that the shower head looked like it was from the 1950’s and didn’t put out very much water, and the walls are very thin! We could hear every little noise the room next to us made… We all enjoyed an amazing dinner at the restaurant in the casino (I think it’s called Mason Street?). The food was prepared, served and tasted absolutely amazing! We were very pleased with the entire restaurant experience! My husband and I returned to the casino after securing our son in the room and had a blast! Well, I did anyway, I won more than he lost! Lol. My only complaint there was that the bartender Chuy was more interested in talking to a coworker on the other side of the bar than he was checking on his patrons… But, the server on the floor (sadly, I didn’t get her name) was amazing! She explained to us there were only 2 of them for the entire casino, but I still feel like she was prompt with our drinks. My absolute favorite part of our visit was our “shuttle buddy” Dylan. (I hope I spelled it right) he escorted us between the hotel and casino 3 times. He was a doll! Great personality, sense of humor, and really made me feel comfortable in a vehicle I was a little nervous about getting into! (the “cart” thingie used for shuttle). Due to the amazing staff and food, we will definitely be back! Hopefully better shower heads will be installed by then!

Had a great time watching the game. The hosts were cordial and friendly. The casino itself could use more quarter machines. Pennies just don’t cut it. Overall, we had a great time. I’ll go back.
