I have been going to the casino since it was built! Started off to be a great place! Now with the new management….it is a very unclean..poor service…Waited 45 minutes for valet to get my car….All chairs and benches are gone so you have to stand all that time! Something needs to be done ..
big time to improve that place! Everyone I talk to is thoroughly disgusted! New management is desperately needed! So much more to say….but it’s of no significance…They could care less about the patrons!

  2. Joy Godleski say:

Not seeing many good comments about Mohegan Sun Casino. Maybe they need some REAL CHANGE? Like a new CEO and management? The employees are quitting and some there for 10 years, but they say it’s so bad now. The ones that are left are so disqusted and you can see by their faces and attitude their not happy any more. I guess not. The customers are complaining and yelling at them for these awful changes. Friday night Nov 16 and the casino is empty. The bars, empty, Vip Lounge… empty and the food was awful in there. They could have put out breaded rubber bands and you wouldn’t tell the difference. The poor workers weren’t taking home any money/ tips that night. Nobody wants to go up there any more.

  3. Brian Dilley say:

I was only there for an hour, as I was up there for a bowling tournament and wanted to see the casino. It was nice, but nothing special, as I live in the Lehigh Valley and have a Sands Casino within 10 minutes of my house that I would prefer to visit.

  4. Michael Radzwilla say:

Why is it called Party on the Patio if nobody is allowed on the patio?

  5. Becky Kearney Benson say:

I was so excited to finally get to Party on the Patio… it was terrible!! the sound quality was horrible.. we left after an hour!

  6. Sue Butler Cantarella say:

Was a great band but all the changes to seating and shorter music time while bleacher section was empty…… then trying to get through the slot machine maze once you get in. Why sooooo many changes to things that seemed to be working ….. may not be a high roller but spent enough last night.

  7. Brian Wilson say:

This place sucks. Drinks are overpriced, place is always overcrowded, and you get carded a half a dozen times just trying to walk the full circle.

  8. Elle Baloga say:

They got rid of all the things I would go up there for or changed them to the point where they are not fun. I am not a gambler but would put money in whenever I would head up there because it was there and my friends were doing it. Now, I won’t even be there. They destroyed party on the patio and from what I hear are getting rid of Oktoberfest! Whoever the new management is should really take a class on marketing.. you need it.

  9. Holly Ann say:

EVERYTIME I stay here is better then the last…. Great service, awesome beds, killer shower and just a great place to gamble, eat and relax…. very pleased… best night sleep in awhile!

  10. Lee Ann say:

This place was sooo much better when Soper was there. I dont know what he did but atleast he was all about family. Now seems to only cater to the high rollers. No family events at all any more.

  11. Lisa Pierelli say:

This place is awful the only thing worse than the drink service is waiting for an attendant!!!!

  12. Laura Russo say:

you have to walk a long time to find a way in to play. . and the food and service was so bad at the buffet. oh god was it awful.

  13. Brian Greene say:

Hate the new fence around the game area. Didn’t have any promotions or free play on my card. I do however get complimentary hotel rooms. Thank god because those beds are the worst we’ve ever slept in. I honestly only go to the Pa location 3 to 4 times a year.

  14. Stephanie Ann Stempfer say:

Booked a room for a business function. When I arrived to check in after driving 5 hours I was told that my requested non smoking room was not available and that it was only a “request “. Was offered an air purifier and new pillows. That does nothing for a person with allergies and asthma. Booked a room hassle free for half the price down the road

  15. Allison Wiley Bryant say:

Very clean And tons of slots to chose from. It smells good too!

  16. Christopher Gaidos say:

The casino has gone down hill first of they close the horse track cafe down at 8 any more and it is so bad to get a drink when playing slot machines

  17. Bridget Duggan say:

not what it used to be! did away with buffet deals…. slots are really tight… charging for parking really?

  18. Terri Topa-Coyer say:

The buffet is not worth the money, also that stupid fence they put around the casino. I nearly pee’d my pants to get to opening to find a bathroom. This new set up is ridiculous.

  19. Aaron Norris say:

TERRIBLE SERVICE.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! y’all should check to see if you can see the Bday and picture on a ID. Smh Worst place

  20. Tiff Kline say:

Always a good time at Mohegan and the employees are always so nice. Won $271 on a wizard of oz “not in Kansas anymore” slot machine last night on a $0.50 bet! Thank you.
Also enjoyed the Party on the Patio with Motley 2! I love that you offer free concerts on Thursday nights for the public to enjoy . A very clean casino, with good vibes, good food (love Timbers) and good times. Looking forward to many more parties on the patio this summer !
[email protected] NEPA Food &a Restaurant Promoter/Event Guide

  21. Olivia DelVecchio say:

I come here all the time. The reason I’m giving it 1 star is because 1) they are getting rid of party on the patio. 2) they are no longer selling red bull and that’s what I always drink. 3) the new gate situation is ridiculous. 4) I’m carded everywhere I go and constantly have to get my id out of my wallet so I can re-enter back into the slots. 5) the new size of the beers is a disgrace. You dont even a full glass of beer anymore. I will not be coming back. You lost a faithful customer.

  22. Rose Walsh say:

Had a great room and a good night at the comedy club!!! Pay the slots didn’t win but my hubby had a great night on the tables!! So it was a great Father’s Day weekend!!

  23. Earl Cunningham say:

The service is not like it use to be. The party on the patio service is poor . The service at the Comcast food area has poor service and really no fries when you order chicken tenders like it was for years the fries are separate now . OMg.

  24. Vicky Soppeck say:

They don’t pay out. They would rather pay the fines. New CEO sucks.

  25. Lexi Evans say:

To close together.. You put that fence up so now you have to walk more to enter the game room. The same people carded me more then once. Wasn’t asked for drinks. Mnt airy is much better.

  26. George Rittenhouse say:

Place is definitely going in the wrong direction. I hope they have enough “high rollers” to keep it going since they’ve alienated everyone else. Hello Mount Airy!

  27. Stephen Kelly say:

No fireworks this year thanks for ruining a tradition that’s located in plains not wilkes barre.

  28. Mark Spittel say:

How do you get rid of Oktoberfest?? It drew 50,000 people a weekend but that’s not good enough? Not to mention this casino never pays out. I won’t miss it when they get bought out

  29. Zack Fornitt say:

As a former top tier member for many years, I’ve stopped going to this casino because: 1. Nobody seems to win 2. Paying for valet instead of including it is as a casino bonus (goodbye to their tips) 3. This CEO seems to want to make this casino into another GREAT Atlantic city casino (NON EXISTENT!!!) Great job Mohegan sun!!!, I would like to see if your profits improve at all a year from now….

  30. Matt Josuweit say:

Terrible odds not a big gambler but when I do go it’s off to MT. Airy

  31. Jane Giordano say:

I had a very nice time and will definitely be going back.

  32. Shawn Gilbert say:

They let me win a couple times then took all my money …lol

  33. Morgz Raskiewicz say:

They have completely destroyed party on the patio! The got rid of all country music claiming that it did not draw in a large enough crowd.. but had scheduled it the same night as the country concerts at montage! Along with that what they have done with the people in the wheel chairs is obsured. Many people do not attend because of this. Also getting rid of things such as Oktoberfest and the 4th of July fireworks is awful! Your nothing more than a bunch of corporate pigs enjoy your loss of business👍🏻

  34. Robert Olsen say:

Terrible. The upcoming changes make this just a place I desire to no longer visit. Gunna be as dead as the AC casinos now

  35. Jillian Elizzabeth say:

I RARELY go to the casino to play. I go EVERYWHERE except Mohegan, and if I do go there it’s only to eat at one of the restaurants!! You all are going to lose so much business. You have no promo’s. That’s what brings back a lot of people. No free drinks is also a let down. Mohegan is awful and I never refer anyone to go there!

  36. Stephanie Delman say:

The changes are all for the worst. Bad management move. I won’t be returning.

  37. Sandra Eisenhart say:

I had a great time .Machines were good to me.Many new Machines which I enjoyed.I don’t like the fence either for us older folks.I miss the clam chowder at Timbers.

  38. Jeff Grencavage say:

Slots don’t pay out unless your in the high roller room, as far as blackjack goes, there is noooo way a dealer gets that many more blackjacks or 20’s than any other player at the table, I know it’s a business but cmon, even the comps are horrible, is rather make a day out of it and go to AC

  39. Jr Bugdanavage say:

Had a very nice time will be back many more times

  40. Dave Piazza say:

    Worst fucking place in Pennsylvania!
Would never. Recommend this place to anyone you and all the squaws need to get the fuck out of town. You fucking crooks

  41. Conner McCormick say:

Cheap skates, horrible place for concerts. I would avoid

  42. Michele Maynard say:

I went to pocono sun. Omg the Timbers Buffett was totally nasty. I’m sure if I had a pig farm I would not allow my pigs to eat the crap. I frequently go to mohegan sun and what a difference.

  43. Rein Beau say:

I don’t care if you charge for valet, I’ll walk. I don’t care if you do away with fireworks, I’ll see them downtown. The fence is slightly aggravating, but I’ll get over it. Just please whatever you do don’t get rid of POTP as rumors suggest for 2018. I love your friendly Managment team and cozy environment. Keep it up please

  44. Mickey Garrahan say:

New changes gonna drive that place in ground worse then it already did no one goes there on Friday nights now either use to be packed

  45. Mary Waclawski say:

I feel sorry for the poor valet workers. If you have to pay to valet do you think anyone is going to tip now? Probably not and I’m sure that $6 you’re paying to park will not go to any of those workers. There are a lot of local bars and venues that are having great bands now. It’s time to support them. They at least appreciate their customers.

  46. Deb Scaife Stine Bartlett say:

Great shows and the employees are friendly. Love Timbers!!!!

  47. Dan Evans say:

How dare you take away the yearly firework show. That show has been going on way before your shit hole of a casino was even a thought.

  48. Doug Hower say:

I am dismayed that your not having fireworks anymore & that the party on the patio will no longer exist after this year. for those reasons, I cannot give you a favorable rating…thank you

  49. Denise Cerra-Moczulski say:

Very disappointed in my visit to Mohegan Sun. Party on the patio was a big disappointment. The deck was closed for VIP. The audience was very small compared to previous years I have been there Tom Petty usually has a great turn out but not this year. The Valet parking charging 6.00. Is ridiculous why. ? I’d rather take the parking lot shuttle for free. The casino is going to shambles. The bathrooms need fixing and a cleaning. Disgusting. The line for the bars at patio are crazy. 2 bars open !! ONE Food truck what happened to all of them. What are u charging them More money to attend.? I would rather drive an extra 15!minutes to go to Mt Airey…than attend Mohegan Sun.

    Very very disappointed 😔

  50. Margie Humphreys say:

Stayed at Mt airy overnight, what a difference, room was gorgeous and clean, casino and casino bathrooms were spotless, got a lot more play time, free buffets, and the food was great and hot,I suggest over people try Mt Airy and other casinos and let Mohegan feel what the changes are doing, chasing away there regular players…..over July 3 go to other fireworks, Mohegan doesn’t want you, they did away with theirs, so don’t go.. I saw so many of mohegans regular customers I knew from going their at mt airy and the all said the same they are sick of all the changes and bad offers…..by the way mt airy also had some former Mohegan employees now working at Mt Airy, so your not just chasing the patrons, your chasing your workers, and you don’t have enough of them now to serve the people…..wake up before it’s too late…

  51. Tina Maran say:

I have read more negative reviews than positive reviews for the Mohegan Sun Pocono. So, I took a day trip yesterday. This was my first time there. I love the one in CT, and there is no comparison. The one is CT is gorgeous, and customer service is great. The Mohegan Sun Pocono is not that bad. The casino is alittle small, but they do have a large selection of eateries. They could do better with the overall decor. It’s kind of dark. I could smell cigarette smoke/ heavy air freshener when entering the casino. A lot of security was present. It’s hard to get into the casino itself..a lot of railing all the way around with few openings. The view outside is pretty. I will be back to spend the night during the fall when the foliage is at peak.

  52. Francisco Velez say:

Mohegan Sun is a place to retreat and enjoy away from commotion, it is a beautiful place to staying.
    Thanks!

  53. Dawn Conquest say:

Very nice place. BBBBIIIIIGGG! A lot of games to choose from. I will be back again!

  54. Tracey Ferguson Roe say:

I enjoyed it mostly. However, the long walk around the gates to get in the casino playing area seems a bit redundant. Makes me not want to move around and play more. Needs more interactive games.

  55. Ruthie LD say:

Getting rid of the annual Fourth of July fireworks… really?! Such a shame. They claim to be supporting the Wilkes-Barre event, but that was always on a different day and is obviously just an excuse.

  56. Steve Richardo say:

Worst casino Ive ever been too, and Ive been to 90% of them in the US.. There Comps are a slap in the face to everyday players who drop thousands and thousands ( you cannot win), And now I hear they are going to charging for Valet Parking??? Typical of a place run by Indians to make that move.. Is your place hurting that bad that you need to charge for valet parking?? You’ll lose 75% of the senior citizens now bc who would want to walk through that maze of a parking lot… And on a last note, why dont you guys start posting how you get fined by the gaming commission for having the lowest payout rates on the slots. You would rather pay a $10,000 fine than pay out someone $10,010?? Awful experience every time I’m there.. So unless you love waiting an hour to 2 for a drink, being charged to park your car, losing thousands and getting free $5 slot play, and basically handing your money away, this place is for you, but if your from the same area, take the extra 20 minutes out of your drive and got to MT AIRY. You wont regret it.

  57. Donald Angle say:

Awful. The slot machines don’t payoff at all. Got a bonus three times and did collect a single cent in any of the bonuses. Forget about getting a drink. When I finally saw a server and asked for a coffee she never came back. I will drive the extra distance and go to another casino. I threw my card in the trash when I left. I am glad they may out slot machines in other establishments maybe you will have a chance to win something.

  58. Rob Sosnowski say:

Games seem tight, too much smoke where the good games are…

  59. Patricia McGee Way say:

We had a great time at Mohegan Sun, We stayed all night…the facilities were beautiful. One of the most restful nights I have had in a long time Their mattresses are perfect is the only word to describe them. Everyone who worked at the Mohegan Sun was wonderful. I had to have a scooter and I drove it throughout the casino and my room. They are very accommodating and it is always fun to be in a great atmosphere. Thanks for making our visit fun.

  60. Jerrie Walters say:

I am here right now love it… all the reviews I have been reading really suck if it’s that bad why when I look out my room window every parking spot is taken, people are waiting to park or be parked. So busy here every slot machine taken. Some wining some not. Some happy some not. That’s life. The rooms are spotless the food is what you make it. I come here a few times a year and have never had a problem and have come home with a little money in my pocket you have to gamble smart.

  61. Brenda Kalson Gist say:

Screw you I’m not a high roller! You totally destroyed the Party on the patio!

  62. Rosemary Bogumil say:

The fence around the playing area is too Much! Hard to find a way out of the gambling area. Very hard to win. Slots are getting too high to be able to play the Max.

  63. JoAnn Wolinsky say:

It use to be fun…just a racket!
Other casinos give incentives…good ones…here…they take from you…I don’t go. Don’t know where they got 5 star rating…read the reviews…

  64. Diane Morris Peck say:

Don’t like the fact that you’re not continuing the party on the patio. PS. Your beer is warm!

  65. Tony Commodario say:

It sucks can never win and never get any promo.

  66. Jim McCready III say:

Nice place, but Some of the employees there are complete idiots and ignorant assholes! I’ve been Carded 8 times, I guess they didn’t believe I was 28 years old! And I waited over 10 minutes to get a drink, and the cocktail waitresses walked right by me and they were not busy doing anything! Guess I didn’t look “rich” enough!

  67. Hugh Steinhart say:

A fantastic hotel ,casino ,and , racetrack, especially when you have a horse in a half million dollar race, very exciting.

  68. Justine Fletcher McAndrews say:

I thought the set up of machines were mixed together, which I didn’t really like. Plus a little on top of each other.
Next, the non smoking area was a little confusing.
Overall I thought it was nice.

  69. Tonya Walker say:

I had a grand time the atmosphere was great, the bathroom’s were nice and clean and anything you needed access to was not hard to find……

  70. Ann Aleman say:

Stores too expensive, no real gift shops ,casino floor too confusing and no day time racing or even training. Will not be returning. Bad reviews from other family members, but was hopping I would have a better experience. Only good part Johnny Rockets. Great food and services…

  71. Deb Dickson Galoni say:

Very nice and alot of fun–although, of course I lost my money!

  72. Wes Hamilton say:

Everything was fantastic can’t wait to go back again

  73. John Sweeney say:

Rustic kitchen and johnny rockets so good. Good service also

  74. Kelly Keltor say:

What happens at Mohegan stays at mohegan….unless you go with a blabbermouth.

  75. Wayne T Solace say:

Not a bad place except for one important thing, hope you like playing without the ability to wipe your ass, don’t even bother asking EVS employee’s seeing as they have better thing to do.

To any one who read’s this post, practice caution when leaving negative reviews the Mohegan casino representative have started reporting Account to Facebook who don’t see their point of view, oh and avoid timbers buffet not only are the cooks a bunch of good for nothing workers but when i complained to a manager john Connor he pretty much told me that everyone had a long day. Wtf kind of excuse is that, but i guess it pay to the manager with a fat ass that he has.

  76. Carl Bower say:

The changing of everything is going to be the down fall of the casino charging for parking and taking the patio party away. Stopping the country music and fourth of July fireworks, not to mention Oktoberfest. Just not the experience I was looking for.

  77. Laura Pruitt Marsh say:

Slots are too tight. Need more $5 blackjack tables. Only one was open and it was always full. Non smoking area is a plus. No cashiers to cash in your chips. Every window was closed.

  78. Jerry Whitenight say:

One of the better casinos around I myself usually do pretty good they’re always seem to have the newer machines

  79. Lisa Long Matz say:

It was nice enough but smoking was an issue. Not enough ventilation to get the smoke out even when I’m on smoking area. A tad bit annoying how you had to walk around to the entrance. You were basically in the inner circle with only 2 ways out. Set in circle setting. Great options for dining. Small shops no name brands in them. Cute clothing shop but everything in there smelled like smoke.

  80. Brittany Shervinski say:

The changes are ridiculous! Bring back the perks/incentives to gamble.

  81. Tony Bomenka say:

As far as gaming… it could go better but the Eagles tribute was excellent!!! 7 Bridges

  82. Mary Bidwell say:

All I want to say is to please not take party on the Patio away next year. It’s such a good time outdoors. Something we all need these days

  83. Susan P Jaffe say:

I had a great time and will go go back again. Loved it

  84. Sue Stofko say:

I used to like this casino. Corporate greed has taken over. The latest slap in the face ends up affecting the guys and gals running their butts off at the valet. Customers have to pay for valet service now and you guessed it, none of that money goes to the actual workers and since the customer has to pay they either aren’t using the service or skipping the tip for the workers. We were able to valet for free because the person I went with was handicapped. We did tip the nice young man working his butt off but he said this new policy is definitely affecting their tips. Shame on the casino they should at least give them a cut of this new fee or a raise.

  85. Doreen Wills say:

7 bridges were fantastic! Sounded just like Eagles. Company fantastic also

  86. Sherry Kalyan-Buonopane say:

This place puts the casino in my area to shame(Hollywood in Grantville). I came up for a concert in the grand ballroom and spent a couple hours prior at the slots a little(did more walking than gambling to figure out the lay of the land) and also to grab dinner. I do plan on returning for another concert event or a weekend to stay at the hotel. One thing that I found as a negative…the driveway leading into the complex as well as the directive signage. The amount of 4 way stops(my guess) would lead to a good amount of traffic accidents.

  87. Michael Wildoner say:

Went on the first day that the “new” valet parking started- what a joke! No more scanning your ticket stud- 4 people now take the place of the machine they used and you are stuck waiting in line. Valet parking now costs anywhere between $3-6 dollars. I usually give a $5 tip, so no big deal to me. HOWEVER, I would assume the clientele during the week are 60-80 years old with the majority of them being Core members who will have to pay $6 valet “fee.” This is a crime considering the majority of the older people rely on valet instead of walking 100s of feet from the parking lot. Shame on you Mohegan!

Also, Timbers has gone WAAAAYYYY down hill, you have to wait forever to be offered a drink, and the slots are tighter than a bull’s azz.

  88. David Rinker say:

Place has gone down hill, rather travel to MT airy or AC.

  89. Christina Goldsmith-Dormans say:

I attended a concert at Mohegan Sun which was great however the casino was the most awful place. The smoke in nonsmoking was unbelievable. The slots just sucked your money. Don’t think I will play there again

  90. Patricia Vath Tucci say:

Had a great time yesterday with my friend RoseAnn at the Mohegan Sun Pocono yesterday.😊

  91. Chris Aikey say:

I have been playing in a lot of tournaments 2 to 3 a month for several months , the downstairs is getting progressivly filthier, the tournament chips were actually sticking together yesterday, I remarked to the dealer how dirty the chips were and she replied “Don’t play then” wow lost about all my respect

  92. Laurie Flynn say:

First time here, slot machines do not pay out very well. Don’t like the fence around around gaming area, not easy to get out of. Played Texas hold ’em , first dealer very nice and he explained game and gave advice on how to bet and play. Then dealer changed and all she did was complain how much she hated to deal this game and didn’t really understand how to pay out the players, really? Isn’t that her job?! $6.00 to Valet your car is crime. Don’t think I will make the trip back there. My Airy or Sands is better.

  93. JoAnn N Mike Ferari say:

Love Love the place!!!! Did not win much but casino is so nice to walk around…..

  94. Tom Kislan say:

Never like to give a bad review but I haven’t been this disappointed in ages. Had an 8pm reservation at Pacers clubhouse for dinner. 7 people, one of which was a child in a wheelchair. We were given a table for 6. When asked if we could change the configuration of the table to accommodate us the server told the hostess no. Waited 20 minutes after being seated. No menus and no server for a drink order. I had to find a hostess. Finally after 30 minutes got a drink order and ordered some apps. The apps came but no plates. Asked for small plates. By the time they came we were done with our apps. Asked to order our food. 90 minutes after we sat down, still no meals. No server to see if we needed more drinks. Food finally came 100 minutes after we sat down. Food was luke warm. Only good part of this meal was that my friend paid!!! Now I know why I stick to Ruth’s Chris and Rustic Kitchen!!

  95. Kruti Patel say:

This place sucks, will never visit again. Bizarre customer service. The guy named Mathew let one of my family member who was visiting from India get in. Then when he started playing he had to show his ID which was international so they said it was not going to be valid here for the casino. Understand that. They then asked him to leave the casino, understand that as well. So when we basically could not be at the casino. So we started leaving through the front entrance where we had pay for the vallet. They told him that he cant go back and had to leave from the entrance right there. Which was bizarre since he atleast had a valid ID. That being said 2 of us went at the front entrance and asked the guy named Mathew to call somebody from the customer service or Human Resources and he said no one will come down to talk to you. And that pissed me off. That guy started yelling at us while explaining why no one would come talk to us. When we told him that it was such a bizzare thing to hear he started being rude. I then mentioned that i will never come to this place again and he said thats ok you dont have to come here. It was no point in even talking to them beinv Marcus and Joseph, the other employees who joined to support Mathew. While we were going to pay for the vallet Mathew yelled in front of the people who were all waiting out there that you should have a valid ID for you to visit. He didn’t have to do that. We understand English pretty well.
It was so frustrating to go through this. Very poor management and very bad customer service. They dont know how to deal with their customers. Wonder how the business is running?
Glos bless America as the visitors are not allowed to walk free in this country anymore and is obviously not leaving a good impression of us.

  96. Tony Scoblick say:

I am not a fan of the new floor plan in smoking section, it take awhile to get to bathroom, valet parking is a reck, i only drink bottle beer while playing on occasions, have to walk a get one now, plastic bottles would be nice or cans

  97. Crystal Vladika say:

Beverage service options such an inconveinence now that you need to go to center bar for bottled beer . Valet you wait longer now because you need to stand in line for people to pay if needed. Female restrooms look as a whole messy . Casinos I don’t go too offer me more free play something’s need to change . Mohegan going down lots of complaints the head of casino needs to listen .

  98. Marshico Robinson Elliston say:

You can’t even get a bonus….First timers get $10free play…Better luck somewhere else..Ill.keep my money..The racetrack was fun

  99. Keith Justin say:

    Stupid dealer’s, ignorant manager’s and lazy a-hole

  100. Stephen Salavantis say:

Not enough time in the day to describe every shortcoming

  101. Tammie Kline say:

Wow!! The free play amount sure went down over the months. Also, I sent an email a few months ago and never got a response. I love visiting, but not sure when I will again now.

  102. David Majiros say:

Always clean and friendly. Plenty of slots to play – combined new and old.

  103. Toni Youngblood Pallis say:

Going downhill fast. Why send me a calendar when you have striped away much of the good entertainment?

  104. Laurel Files say:

Came I from Florida, stopped in NJ and came up to PA to visit with Cousins. I was very impressed with it all. The concert last night, the food and the cleanliness. Security was excellent and visible.

  105. Cindi Brucker say:

Was also very disappointed, went to the buffet $26.00 a person and it was horrible! Food was empty and what was there was over cooked. Slots didn’t pay off and the place reeked of cigarettes! I will never go back!

  106. Nicholas Limozinere say:

We got some to Pennsylvania sucks rude employs not courteous treat you like you’re not worth anything

  107. John Kindler say:

I love the party on the PATIO , THE Musicians are high caliber , and THE Sound System has never been better , thanks to ROCK STREET MUSIC , BOTH BILLY OR GENE GIVE THE GREATEST SOUND MIXES IN YEARS , I CAN’T WAIT FOR THURSDAY , and THE FUN At THE BEAUTIFUL Party on the PATIO !*!*!*!*!*!*!

  108. Robert Nazario say:

I went there with my wife on our motorcycle. Not having designated parking area for motorcycles is a bummer.

  109. Susan Schneider-Patton say:

We also have been regular patrons of the casino for years . Valet lately has been a mess. No one knows what’s going on . You drive up, no one available at the end where the cars pull up , others cars behind you , confused and cutting other people waiting off. Obviously understaffed- AND to boot… we gambled, ate dinner, came out and our car was still in Valet, left running for 2 hrs. Spoke to the Valet manager and was told – “Sorry….”. Nothing else , just sorry . Then walked away. We left a message for Robert in customer relations- left cell phone number and a work number- Never called back to rectify the situation. Obviously they really don’t care about local patrons that come here quite often. Needless to say, we will be driving further and going to the Poconos if we want to gamble . Very very disappointed!!

  110. Colette Jesikiewicz say:

Girls night out at the race track. Had a great time . Can’t wait to go again.

  111. Louis Lillo say:

My wife and I just stayed here. Had a really good time. Room was clean, bed very comfortable. All the staff we dealt with were very nice and helpful. Didn’t win a lot in the casino but hey that’s why they call it gambling. All in all had a really good time. Oh and Ruth’s Chris was a great meal.

  112. Michael Gravelle say:

Had a good time with my wife Played slots for a couple hours before a concert.

  113. Kylie Licata Smeltz say:

This casino is a joke. I do not go anymore because the slots never pay out and I’m lucky to play for a half hour to an hour before I’m out of money. All these changes they made are for the worse. I hate the set up of getting into the casino and all the railings and stop points. When I was younger I used to go up there with my family before I was 21 and go to the restaurants then walk the perimeter while my parents played or sat and drank a coffee. Valet is ridiculous how you now have to pay. I never get free slot play ever not even on my birthday! The woman’s bathrooms always smell and are dirty. The Buffet is dreadful and pitiful. Hollywoods is so much better. They even got rid of the refer local deals where you’d get 25 free slot play and 25 to rustic or 2 Buffet tickets for $25. We would do those a lot of times as gifts or just to go up. I wouldn’t waste your time or money going here. The head of it is really taking it to the ground.

  114. Patricia Fritsky say:

Not happy with the recent changes. This looks like the beginning of the end….

  115. Beth Ann Piontkowski say:

What they did in valet is shameful. Make you pay to park and no increase in pay for those that run for your car. Which means less to no tips for them. They want free work and more money. Done with that place. This new CEO should run back to where ever he came from

  116. Michelle Hogan say:

Once was decent to play but now you just go and can’t get any free playtime. You just put your money in and get no return not even a little to keep you playing for a longer time. Won’t be returning I’d rather go to Atlantic City at least I get some winners down there.

  117. Edwina Vauclain say:

Room was comfortable but you need new pillows desperately. Do not like the new “fence” on the floor as it is hard to get out to make a run to the bathrooms. Why is only one Casier section open at a time; both need to be manned. With more expensive slots, there is less payout as who wants to spend $3-$5 for one pull?

  118. Marguerite Morton say:

My favorite casino! Hands down!! Awesome staff so considerate and helpful! Can’t wait to come back

  119. Barbara Fritch Dulina say:

Well today is the last for Mohegan for us!!!!!!We have put our money in this place for the last year or so and have loved it until today. They took out all the dollar wheel of fortune that u needed max $3.00 AND REPLACED THEM WITH MAX $5.00!!!!!!!! THEY TOOK OUT ALL QUARTER WHEEL OF FORTUNES that max was $1.25 AND MADE THEM 9 QUARTERS MAX. really $2.25. Time to go back to Atlantic City where we have more choices.

  120. Michelle Griffith say:

Ya never win, been there a few times I watched to see if anyone was winning ,Nd not anyone that I seen.very hard to win any thing !!

  121. Michelle Kile say:

Not sure if this is the right place to leave this negative comment but I’ll do it any way… I tried out the “new and improved” buffet at the casino today . What a joke that was. Meat was not cooked the selection was horrible, its a good thing I got a coupon in the mail for it to be free because if I had to pay $26 for what was there I would have asked for my money back. I’ve never left a buffet hungry but today I did. Salad was the only thing that was edible. Oh and I’m not the only one in there that thought this. As I walked around trying to find something that look like you could it eat it I witness 5 other people shaking their heads and saying how horrible the food looked and how little there was to choose from…. You may have just lost yourself loyal Mohegan gambler today.

  122. Barbara Prock say:

I do like this casino but wish there was more free slot play. I would then come more often. Staying overnight is great. I found the employees to be kind and helpful ( needed a step stool for the high beds) We like Wolfgang Puck best and Rustic Kitchen. It would be nice to get offers for comp dinners. We get invited to concerts, free dinners and lots of free slot play from the Sands. Mt Airy also matches free slot play offers. Thank you

  123. Amy Dale Spess say:

The only thing i would go back for would be the Party on the Patio or harness racing! But I know they are cutting out the Party on the Patio & who know with the horses so I would rather spend my $ elsewhere

  124. Jennifer Marie say:

Got a room last night at Mohegans. Went up to the room to lay down and this was on the bed under the comforter. Obviously housekeeping isn’t cleaning rooms/changing sheets anymore either. I’m disgusted to say the least. All they did not was comp my room. Last time I was there, our door wouldn’t shut, had to have maintenance come back twice and had to wait in the room while they were there for over an hour, so they could fix it. I’m disgusted with this place to say the least! I won’t be back anytime soon! ****see pic in comments***

  125. Matt Viscione say:

I live in south eastern CT right by where the mohegan sun casino is there so I was interested in seeing how this one compared to it. It was a nice time to go watch the horse racing since we don’t have that at the one by me but that’s about the end of the positives for me. We noticed in was a very busy night which I can understand being that it was the night before the NASCAR race at Pocono so I can look past that much. That being said me and my fiancé decided to valet park my car instead of trying to find a spot to park when we didn’t know the area. We waited in line for about 20 mins and decided not to because the line did not move an inch. We drove off and finally found a spot to park that wasn’t to far from an entrance. Once inside I could tell that this mohegan was newer then the one I’m use to going to back at home. Not to say that the Mohegan in CT isn’t kept up to date because it is mostly. I can look past the fact that the casino is small then what I’m use to but there are a few things I can’t look past. First off the proximity each machine was to each other. There was a very large amount of gaming machines which is nice to a point but with it being as busy as it was it made it impossible to move around. Also that combined with how everyone was forced exit one area because the gaming floor was surrounded by a hip high railing with what felt like very few emergency exits. I assume this is all up to code at least for a fire hazard but both me and my fiancé noticed this and were a bit worried about it.

  126. Brian Buglio say:

The casino use to be good but had declined horribly in the last 6 or 8 months. One of the last few good things is now just as bad as everything else. We don’t even give the casino a second thought when we think of things to do for an evening. Would rather drive to the sands or somewhere else. Really disapppointed!!

  127. Nelson Taylor III say:

It has everything you’d possibly want. Im going to enjoy working here

  128. Jeanne Marie Littzi say:

Had the best time at the casino with Kim and Susanne, great friends good food…

  129. Jennifer Chesney say:

The casino used to be a fun place to hang out but they are getting a little ridiculous when it comes to carding people. I understand if they want to check my ID when I walk in since I do look young for my age, but they should really have a better system in place such as stamping your hand or give out bracelets so that security knows your ID has been checked. I went for party on the patio tonight and got carded at least 6 times, even when I was walking around with a drink in my hand. Afterwards I was on my way out to leave and a security guard literally grabbed me by the arm and stopped me yet again for my ID even though I was headed for the door and told him I was leaving. He had no reason what so ever to touch me. Pretty soon I won’t be going at all anymore. The new managemnt is drilling that place into the ground.

  130. Kathy Reedy Racavich say:

Had a terrible experience last night. We arrived at the casino and hour before the show. Nowhere to park, all the usual parking taken. Felt forced to Valet park, the line waiting to get into casino was frustrating. There was one person directing the double car lanes to get in. Confusing, they just point to 4 lanes of cars parked in front of entrance. I didn’t know what line to stop & park in! Enjoyed the show, but it quickly turned frustrating again waiting in line to retrieve my vehicle. It ruined my experience, tossed & turned when I got home and caused some tension with my date. I don’t mind paying for parking, but feel corporate greed wins again. Valet attendants run around without their heads and people are not tipping out of anger. I have a room reserved for the end of the month, but strongly contemplating a cancellation.

  131. Paul Datti say:

What fun! Great band, good atmosphere. Better beer selection would be good, but overall a good time.

  132. Rick Adamchik say:

Never saw a casino that charges for valet. Slots are the worst paying in anywhere in the country. Segregate the crowd at party on the.patio!! Place is sliding down hill quick!! Sad to watch the place turn into a money pit for the owners!!

  133. Tracy Bronson Wolfe say:

Changed, not only the policies but the employees. Not a place to go and enjoy your night unless you want to spend thousands then maybe you will get a drink. Machines are so tight and employees so rude.

  134. Debbie Roxby say:

The place is full of bedbugs, I used work at this place in the housekeeping department so many girls that worked in the department also ended up bringing bedbugs home with them the manager Adam, his boss Tim brushed it under the carpet did nothing, a bunch of the girls went to human resources guess what happened? They all got fired total scum bags

  135. Allison Alerine say:

I didn’t like the casino floor setup.. way too much walking with the fences.. Rustic Kitchen was a nice dinner.. rooms were nice.. wisecrakers was great all but the table service was horrible.. not sure our waitress was new but we hung around after the show ended and she never gave us our bill .. and we tried to pay her several times prior.. she wouldn’t take the money .. Vic Dipititto rocked the house .. we had a nice stay but could be better without the long walks to get anywhere

  136. LeahBeth Evans say:

Best casino in Pennsylvania in my opinion. Other casinos, you walk in and it’s all gambling. Here, you can gamble, shop, drink and listen to live music almost every night of the week

  137. Graham Lewis say:

Pocono harness track has stood the test of time and is the fastest 5,8 race track in the states it has been a pleasure racing there in ft he 80s,and it’s going to be a pleasure to race there again this year

  138. Ronda Comfort say:

Excellent fun there sure where a lot of jackpots more than I have ever seen the tell it over intercom. Free drinks Awsome food . And a 50$ bonus free play 👍

  139. John Polvinale say:

I recommended some out of town friends to dine at Ruth Chris.
When they pulled up to valet, they were informed there was a $6.00 parking fee.
They told the attendant they were not going to the casino but just going for dinner and the answer was it didn’t matter.
Based on principle, they left and went to Longhorn.
Seems to me something could be worked out in a situation like that.

  140. Sandi Marie say:

We had a spectacular time! The food was tasty and worth the price.

  141. Kelly N Bob Nunubiz say:

Lots of fun, clean, inviting & welcoming! Looking forward to the 17th!

  142. David Blair say:

its bad,,,wouldn’t let me go check on my 82 yr old mother,,who was enjoying herself at the johnny cash show,,,but she was out on the deck by herself,,just wanted to ask her if she was ok,,,but the peon security wouldn let me through,,,after being very polite to them,,these people have no compassion,,,,

  143. Michael Cooper say:

Very good place to kill time with and just hang out with friends. And family there

  144. Alfred Romeo say:

Great casino- Tuesday night the jackpots were flowing Like the water over Bushkill Falls. Great restaurants—-Bar Louie was great—–I got a bucket with 5 12oz bottles of Lager (YUENGLING TO YOU PILGRIM) for $6. We had fun for the entire two days we were there- You need to try this MOHEGAN SUN Connecticut residents.

  145. Dave Osborne say:

We would go back so enough said. Did not like gates all around the casino.

  146. Michele McKeown say:

The hotel at Mohegan Sun was nice. We had s great time at the casino. Only thing I think thats missing is a hot tub next to the pool. Lol food was good and the drink service was great ! Lots of free stuff to do up in that area. Every Wed nite montage water park is open for adults only I think its 7-10 pm . Admission is free. They have live music and serve drinks. Its only for 21 and older. Hickory Run state park has a huge rock field u can climb on,and beaches to swim. All that is free and horseback riding which isn’t to expensive. Every Thursday during the summer Mohegan Sun has party on the patio …its free admission with tribute bands every week . They serve drinks too. I’m not sure if u have to be 18 or 21.

  147. Paul Austin Hubler say:

Went to see a band play at Party on the Patio last night and the band that played out on a great show! Had dinner at Wolfgang Puck’s and the food was excellent!

  148. Lee Ann Marsico say:

Well very interesting reviews, wanted to take a trip there, but not now after hearing about the slots and the staff

  149. John Beres say:

No refrigerator in room, dust all over, shower was cold, and one elevator for the whole hotel to access the rooms. Staff is great other than that it’s sad.

  150. Suzen Swaen-Filler say:

We went for our anniversary and had a amazing time!! Party on the patio (free) they gave a comp room for the night which was beautiful!! Dinner was on them as well!! I can’t thank Mohegan Sun enough for giving us a night we will never forget!!

  151. Helen Ferretti say:

Very disappointed in this casino anymore. Used to go a lot. Not anymore. The free slot play is diminished, beverage service is almost nonexistent and the slots don’t pay anything. Mt. Airy is much better. I went once after about 4 years in February and ever since then–great free play, gifts and buffet vouchers. Mt. Airy is my choice from now on.

  152. Tony Bellenzeni say:

The men’s rooms are disgusting. They stink, floors are gross. Urinals look like they haven’t been cleaned in weeks …….
Not sure what happened the last couple months. They used to be clean.

  153. Gloria Perry say:

Total Fun,Entertainment ,and Slots !!!! Best Rooms, Workers, Beautiful people that play the Slots, Friendly, a great Lost and Found Department, I know, Lost my Cell down there and came back a day Later and they Had it!!!!! Very Clean Restrooms, and The Maintenance Workers are very helpful and do a Wonderful Job

  154. Tammy Snyder say:

Brian Snyder and Tammy Snyder visited here on our wsy home from Poconos. We were given 10.00 for new players but not much winning

  155. Daryl Rafalko say:

I have been coming here since you opened, I have a player club card, I spend a lot of money and earn momentum dollars. My card tells me I have over 100.00 momentum which can be used for food, drinks, or hotel stays. This is the second time I came here and attempted to use my card. Doesn’t work. Management came over walked with me to players club who confirmed I have the money on my card, and I attempt to use it to buy drinks at center bar. Your computer is having problems so your resolution was for me to pay Cash or credit. I asked for a gift card or even a tab so you can figure out YOUR problem. Instead you said I can have one drink while you leave and deal with someone else’s problem. You said you will be back to talk with me in 15 minutes. It has been over an hour and my friends left to go enjoy themselves at party on the patio while I wait for a resolution that is frankly not my problem. This is unacceptable and I’ve been nothing but kind and patient and given your management team ideas that would solve the problem and instead told I have to wait or use my own money. Not happy with you at all.

  156. Andrew Gobish say:

This place sucks. Now you’re getting rid of Oktoberfest, and I hear party on the patio. Thanks but no thanks.

  157. Natalie Ibrahim say:

*Update, please see their response below. This is the Mohegan service I’m used to and I appreciate them making it right!*

I planned an overnight trip for my parent’s 15th anniversary and they have just returned and told me of their experience. They stayed overnight and their room was full of dust to the point my father had a severe asthma attack. They told the front desk who simply brushed it off. I have just called and spoke with the manager, Melissa, who once again brushed it off and said she could not do anything for this experience. I am completely disgusted with Mohegan and have NEVER had a bad experience with them until now. Do not stay at Mohegan Sun’s hotel unless you want a dirty room full of dust and the hotel staff to not care about your experience!

Very embarrassing to plan their anniversary and they had this type of experience!

Very very disappointed, Mohegan Sun! I’ll be sure to take my business elsewhere.

  158. Carol Lee Benson say:

Bee gee concert was amazing Mohegan sun pocono was so organized, clean , did a fantastic job & valet parking went smooth 👍🏻👍🏻

  159. Barbara Delong say:

Party on the patio band ” staying alive ” awesome we have been going every year since 2012. This year being the first time they stopped us from sitting in our usual spot, saying it was for VIP. Looking up half way through the show , there were so many empty seats. Very disappointed , will not go again. I will travel to see stayin alive before I would go here again.

  160. Laurie Lord Mulligan say:

Had a great time at party on the patio last night! Stopped at Bar Louie for happy hour very enjoyable . I would recommend it to everyone.

  161. Marie Schoonover say:

Awesome experience attending Party on the Patio with The Bee Gees Tribute Band Stayin’ Alive ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ That band was fabulous. We started are night with dinner at Bar Louie’s excellent choice another ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ experience. Please keep the Party on T he Patio Concerts for another year or two please it’s good publicity for your Casino 👏⭐️👏

  162. Lisa M. Sanfilippo say:

Party on the Patio is disappointing this year. I used to look forward to it

  163. Ann Tomko say:

Not happy to hear party on the patio won’t be returning in 2018. Really looked forward to seeing the tribute bands each week, especially “Stayin Alive”. Extremely disappointed in recent changes, upper deck seating at party on the patio is a joke, doing away with fireworks, just to name a few. Whoever is making all of these changes should really consider its not always about the bottom line or numbers, you need guests and customers to make business successful! Doing away with party on the patio will take away a lot of business!! Not a very smart business decision! Guess my business shifts to Mount Airy or a nice car ride/overnight stay at Tioga Downs!! THEY are well worth the time and money.

  164. Georgette Harper say:

I give you five stars for Stayin’ Alive Tribute Band. My favorite every year! They were fantastic and so are the Parties on the Patio. You are doing a disservice to your establishment and the community for taking it away. Hope you have a change of heart. Sad to see all the negative changes taking place there.

  165. Kim Calek Mccoy say:

absolutely horrible. drink service is almost non existent. service at machines takes forever. and their brilliant way to make valet more efficient is horrible. there are 75 people waiting for cars. a 25 minute wait and I see 3 valet workers. I think my patronage will be going to my airy or Hollywood from this day foward.

  166. Peter Van Der Mije say:

Horrible casino. I will never go there again. There is never enough staff and you have to valet, check in, and bring your bags up to the room despite having to pay $400 a night. My suggestion is to find another hotel.

  167. Thomas Nay say:

You need better waitresses in the poker room. Not very friendly

  168. Tammy Walck-Strohl Gibbins say:

It stank of smoke ( terribly ) Hated it !! Spoiled my visit completely!!!

  169. Sue Hommel say:

Gaming was ok. Then we decided to try the buffet. What a joke that was, after paying 55 for 2 adults, not much of a selection, over baked potatoes, they had peppers and onions, but no sausage or rolls. Desserts were terrible cept for the hard ice cream. I picked a pc of pie which I thought was cheese cake, took a bite of it, boy was I in for a surprise. It was so tart, my eyes started to water. I guess I compare this buffet to the Harvest Buffet at the Turning Stone, which I give them 5 stars. Will never eat at the Timber Buffet again.

  170. Charlotte Puscavage-Schmidt say:

I was there yesterday for the Elvis show, which was amazing. The grand ballroom was very comfortable and workers were very courteous and helpful. As far as the slot machines goes they suck. I go quite often and spend a good amount of money and no matter what machine I play I can never hit. I think all of the announcements stating congratulations another Mohegan Sun jackpot winner is nothing but a hoax to get you to spend more money. I’ve been going up there since they opened never hit a jackpot, never had my named pulled for anything. Also point system sucks on there cards. If you don’t spend enough money in a 6 month period they down grade your level. I think it’s time to walk away and find something new to amuse me.

  171. Samantha Kolesar Conway say:

I’ve had the highest VIP card for year’s. I needed surgery on my spine and was out for the count for 8 months. When I returned, I was given the lowest level card even though I explained my situation. No sympathy what so ever. I went from VIP service to no service. All the years I spent a lot of money at Mohegan Sun and it accounted for nothing. I have not returned since that day. About 2 years now. Mt. Airy understood after looking at my play over the years and without hesitation gave me my onyx card back and wished me the best of luck. I play at Mt Airy and will not go back to Mohegan. Sorry for them they lost a very very good customer and alot of money.

  172. Gram Daub say:

Fantastic show. You should have Shawn Klush there more often

  173. Jim Thomas say:

    $6.00 to park? Unbelievable

  174. Debe Greene say:

I went there on Tuesday, August 29 on a bus trip from Fishkill NY. I have been to this casino twice before and I like it. The attendants were very friendly and helpful, plenty of slot machines to play but not winning much. I was very disappointed that the buffet was closed and so were many other people. Why is it closed Monday and Tuesday. I will visit again in the future.

  175. Charles Mullen say:

Used to be my favorite place to go and have fun. Since the new CEO took over, its awful.

  176. Lisa Wisniewski say:

Love this hotel and Party on the Patio! Was there for Draw the Line. Great show. Please have them back next year. DId not like the new seating or the VIP only area. It worked much better allowing people who wanted to sit in the upper section and allowing those of us who what to stand and dance on the lower level. Staff is always very friendly. This year as people wanted to wait and get a pic with the band, you could hear staff yelling for everyone to get out. No need for this. Plan the timing better. Also like 3 sets better. I know entertainment is expensive. Have you considered a small cover charge to help with costs. Thanks for an overall great experience. I come every year when Draw the Line is playing. Would come more often if I lived closer.

  177. Brian Murphy say:

First time here , really enjoyed it ! Nice selection of slots !

  178. Scott Lombardo say:

First time at the Mohegan Sun Pocono and it was great. Great food, friendly people, plenty of games.

  179. Saul Phiber say:

My wife tried to go for happy hour at Pearl. We waited in the Valet parking line for over fifty minutes…. what’s point of having valet parking? I will NEVER GO BACK.

  180. Christine Filipowicz Roleski say:

I guess I am just not cut out for the casino. Yesterday was probably my 5th time in there and I just can’t get out fast enough. It’s like a 10 min walk from the parking lot just to get inside. It’s crowded, noisy, smokey and expensive. I don’t gamble but the people I was with each lost $20 in less than 5 min on the slot machines. Not for me, I don’t get the hype.

  181. Frank Fredin say:

Great customer service and very fair gaming system. People say they set it up for failure but i left about $900 richer My name is Francis Fredin and i will be back for the next poker tourney!! Love this place

  182. Ruth Gibbons say:

very poor u never win don’t know when im going back I haven’t won in along time

  183. Jennifer Bellenzeni say:

Can’t believe they removed keno from the bar!!!! I feel bad for the bartenders, the bar was dead. This place has gone to crap!

  184. Jason Manasek say:

Valet service drop off and pick up ruined entire experience. Oh, and we can’t forget the new $6.00 valet fee for waiting 35 minutes for our car to be dropped off.

  185. Raymond Woodring say:

Slots are tight an card didnt work half the time Odid I say the slots are tight thats right TIGHT didnt see ANYONE GETTING HAND PAYED must of took training off of HOLLYWOOD

  186. Barbara Lee Krier say:

The staff is amazing!! Special thanks and deep appreciation to the staff person who found my slots vouchers in the Peoples Bank envelope and turned it into to security !! This was my first winning day at a casino! Thanks to the lady who helped me talked to security personnel!!! 👏👏🎉🎉👍🏼👍🏼🇺🇸🇺🇸🍀🍀🍀🎰🎰🚌🚌🚌 I will be back!!!!

  187. Pauline Stelmack say:

My husband and I had an awesome time here on our trip with Judy’s Pair A Dice tours.

  188. Diane Kovalovich Dallazia say:

Everyone there is so nice all the restaurants are so nice they have anyone and all your people that work there are excellent I love Bar Louie

  189. Claire Montgomery say:

We’ll I don’t know what to say about timbers buffet, but it was a pretty disgusting experience the food was cold one of the “cooks” hi or she what ever it was touch one the food items with its bare hands when I ask if I could please get another piece it snapped at me and it’s head boss named Eddie did nothing about the situation, when I tried to complain to one of the other managers(John) he was to busy talking to this husky blonde server and told in a very bitchy attitude” I‘ll be right with you” ten minutes go by thirty minutes go by nothing. I don’t know what kind of training they receive but I don’t think it’s working to good, and mind you it was completely dead at best 50 customers…. At a buffet that’s sad. I really wish nothing but the best for all the other employees who tried helping out, hope that your pay raise doesn’t get affected by this people’s.

  190. Alison Ann say:

I usually win enough to pay for dinner or a meal for myself there, but the new valet system will be the reason I never go back. My knees are bad, but not bad enough for a handicap sticker (thankfully) and I refuse to pay for parking. Enjoy your high rollers. Many of us pions will not be back. I hear Mt Airy is much better to their patrons.

  191. Matty Bee say:

Taking Keno off all but 5 machines at the bar is a huge mistake!

  192. Tyler Rodgers say:

First off, it’s not not that far from Hazleton where I live, so it’s semi-convenient which is why I give it 2 stars. My first complaint, I went there once, it was “ok” got 1 drink within an hour of gaming, which leads me to the next time I came where I waited nearly 1 hour to be even asked for a drink while playing machines with sticking buttons. I brought it to their attention and received 25$ free slot play, which I used the other night. 3 friends & I were there 2 hours and not once did we get asked for a drink, gaming while parched is NOT fun and I will not be back!

  193. Noreen Jackson say:

Big Thank You to the beautiful person who turned in my wallet after I forgot and left it at the machine I was playing. This casino’s security was wonderful in securing it and getting it back to me immediately. Grateful, this is one reason I should not gamble.

  194. Patty Ann say:

I have been coming here twice a year for the last four years. After staying at Turning Stone in Rome, Del Lago in Waterloo, the Hard Rock in Tampa. I see the wear and tear that has taken it’s toll for this casino. I also see the level of security. I feel safer when a card is required for hotel entry on the elevators…… it is time for an upgrade there. Carpeting, wall covering, bed quality.. (The King bed was amazing but our double queens across the hall were lacking..greatly) …that’s the tip of the iceburg. The design throughout the complex is still current, but the quality of specifics is lacking. The staff are amazing across the board. From floor personnel…waitstaff, bellhops, valets.. to housekeeping to bartenders….they all go above and beyond!

  195. Tamika Bumpus say:

I really enjoy going to the Mohegan Sun….Every chance I get … I’m There

  196. Brian Skeebly say:

Please fix the card scanner by the players club entrance. The security guard really thought i had a fake ID and i been going up there for a year now since i turned 21. Just fix the damn thing.

  197. Crystal Esquilin say:

I had some fun with hubby and use his card instead food drinks ok.but i had a hard time with my card all night they gave me and hubby 20 for free play well we only got 10 and we try to figure out the rest went back told the people up front they fix it but once i got my card back i couldn’t play only my husban even we both got spreate cards

  198. Linda Abatemarco Edmonds say:

The casino is nice. The drinks are free and the waitresses come around often. We went to the attached Racetrack for dinner. When we arrived, they could not find our reservation (made weeks ago) but it was not crowded,
The casino is nice. Free drinks and waitresses come by often. We ate dinner st the attached racetrack. When we arrived, they couldn’t find our reservation but there were plenty of tables and we were seated near the window. The waitress came by and we ordered drinks which arrived quickly. After that, things went downhill…. when ordering our dinner, we asked that our appetizers and food be paced out. The races run until 10ish and we wanted to enjoy our dinner and the races. I ordered soup and prime rib for dinner. Hubby ordered soup, salad and prime rib. Within 2 minutes, my soup and hubby’s salad arrives. Another 2 minutes later, here come our prime rib dinners!!! What?? Didn’t I just say “pace it out?” And where was hubby’s soup?? Now, these are not delivered to the table by our waitress but by some runner. The waitress is MIA. We tell the runner to take back the prime ribs and bring the soup. Ok…2 min later, here’s the soup…AND our prime ribs dinners!!! So crazy!! We ask them, to take the prime ribs back. Finally, the waitress comes by and I flag her down. I ask her about pacing our meals and tell her we refused delivery of our prime ribs twice so far. She says she’ll make sure they don’t sent them out for a while and we tell her to bring them in 15 min. In the meantime, our water glasses are empty, the dirty plates are sitting there piling up at the end of the table and no one ever asks if we’d like another drink. Our prime ribs come out and they’ve probably been sitting under the lights in the kitchen to stay heated but that’s ok. No one come by to bus the tables, no one checks on the customer to see if the dinner is ok or for another drink. In fact, the runner brought s tray of food to a nearby table and dropped the entire tray. Food was a huge mess on the floor. He picked up the plates but left the food and mess all over the floor, totally unacceptable! This place could be a nice dining experience if the staff wasn’t so inept! Terrible service! Beware

  199. Tracy K Cataldi say:

First time here for my birthday and it was okay I thought it would have been a lot better. I got $20 free money for signing up and lost $290!

  200. Terry Coolbaugh say:

We have been there spent $ on shops food slots. Been coming from Binghamton,NY.
Never once have ever received any mail from them. Nothing. We come in good faith for the ride and have a nice dinner and a few turns on slots. Would love to stay but gets expensive. Would appreciate getting some much needed comps or something to make our time with you more enjoyable.thank you in advance.

  201. Anthony Carbone say:

You need to offer better Poker comp rates for your 1/2 no limit Holden play and Omaha player in the poker room. It is sad to say Mt airys Poker room is beating you in comps for Poker. But your deal and floors down in the room do a great job.

  202. Tonya Lee say:

I used to love tho place. Now you don’t get any free play without spending money. We used to get so much free play a month that would make people say “hey Im having fun I’ll put more money in” not having to spend so much to get the free play. People are not going to come as much of they have to spend to get the free play. They will spend more after the free play.

And not having an exit next to a rest room is horrible. Some people have medical issues that they need to get one quickly. They need to be more accessible from the gamin floor.

This place is changing and it’s not for the better

  203. Jim Schrader say:

I like the location and atmosphere. Ate in Pacers and food was exceptional.

  204. Mandy Hewitt Loeffler say:

We had a nice dinner at Rustic Kitchen and played some slots and poker. Dont use valet!!!! It took an hour and a half to get our car back when we wanted to leave. Better fix that problem. All the ppl complaining in the lobby waiting for their cars. Ughhh!!

  205. Machelle Craig say:

Mohegan pays the winnings and odds …FINE…..so they don’t have to abide by the odds….mount airy casino doesn’t..so their casino you have a better chance of winning..the fine Mohegan pays is 15,000.00 a year..whoopie they make that in an hour. ..not many know this !!!

  206. Jenette Hoover-Hassinger say:

Great food, Ruth Chris steak house was amazing. The Pearl, sushi was delicious. Live music, slots, table games and hotel, all great! Very clean.

  207. Joe Valenti say:

Paid 6 bucks plus tips for valet and it sucked. Was MUCH better when it was free. Otherwise, visit was good.

  208. Erika Yinger Kline say:

My husband and I went here on our Anniversary. We had a great time. We stayed 2 nights and never left the entire time we were there. We went to Wisecrackers Comedy Club the one night and did the casino the next day / night. They have quite a few restaurants to choose from with enough variety so there is something for everyone. They also had a few little shops you could visit as well. Our room was nice but it would have been nice to have a little seating area for 2 and I did not care for the bed. Aside from that the room was clean and the bathroom was nicely done.

  209. Pat Lambert say:

it was a very nice day with friends even though i didn’t win any money..

  210. Bobby Judge say:

Place has become a disaster. Changing the games at the bar. They changed the rules to blackjack not letting you split or double down. Changing the initial bet on the machines to the max bet tricking people to hit that button and take their max bet initially. The best is how the ATM machines give $200 when you select $100!! Pretty shady stuff here. Who’s running this place Joe Pesci and Robert De Niro?

  211. Donald Jacobs say:

Lots of machines and tables! Great place! I would return to these hills aytime!

  212. Dirk Anderson say:

Plus- Rooms excellent, music/band in bar Louie, food at Timbers, Johnny Rockets
Minus – Concierge a little weak, center bar was messy dirty counter tops poor service there

  213. Michele Farrell Reynolds say:

We have been going for years, this past visit is likely our last. Very disappointed. The momentum offers are dwindling and far from generous. No free rooms, pay for valet, rarely saw a waitress for a cocktail.

  214. Paula Lewis say:

Fun place to gamble slots and tables, dine and shop!

  215. Patrick Kreisl say:

FIRE TRAP !!!! With the new fencing around 85% of the play area, limits to only 2 ways off casino floor in case of a fire…. WILL NOT Go back ..

  216. Matt Rosen say:

I was there yesterday to meet my childhood idol Don Mattingly. I had great time as I always do. I played the slots until it was time to meet Don Mattingly. I love going to the Mohegan Sun.

  217. Robin Lynn Dechert say:

Went for a nice evening of racing … was sat quickly and that was the only thing quick. After 15 minutes, finially gave drink order, drinks took 15 minutes, then another 15 to flag waitress to take food order … and waitress just kept days legs hurt front all the walking she had to do … food over took 30 minutes to get the food. The french fries undercooked and cold, but jept rest of the mall since we were hungry. Sent the fries back and will say when they did come out, they were hot and good. The service was horrendous so i will think twice about going back … all i want was a good meal while watching the race. More staff is needed.

  218. Eric Kubenik say:

Been going to Mohegan Pocono for several years on a monthly basis. They offer me plenty of comps. I have had many great meals there especially Ruth Chris steakhouse. THE SPA is awesome and my lady always checks in there for something or another. It’s fairly close to home and looking forward to going back soon to maybe take a little more of their !

  219. Haven Harner say:

Been to several diff. Casinos over the last 12 years and this was by far the worst experience of any that i have ever been to..we would start playing a table game and have waitresses come take our order for drinks and never seemed to ever return with them..you are not able to hop the reds on the craps table which to any craps player knows that is ur best odds and they strip that from you, the bathroom right inside the entrance reaked of marijuana..not to mention upon departure we had to pay 6 dollars for valet parking only to sit out front of the building with every other walk of life for about 40 minutes only to end up walking through the dangerous parking lot full of valet drivers speeding thru to find our own car..what did we pay for? Is this how you treat customers who spend money? Good luck with this place..they will never see my money again..horrible services

  220. Jorge Rodriguez say:

Great Casino i always enjoy my time there and my money. Love playing video poker at the bar in the morning you should try it is fun and you drink for free Try is lol

  221. Morgan Ann say:

This place has gone so far downhill it’s not even worth the trip. I was carded 3 different times, and I was walking around the center by the restaurants for two of them. They make you feel like you did something wrong. First Party on the Patio, now this….not worth it!

  222. Lester Block say:

Went there a couple of months ago and the buffet was closed for “renovation”. They said we would see significant improvements when it re-opens.
That said, we went back to the casino on October 21st. The buffet was basically the same, barely adequate. They changed the position of some of the items such as putting the deserts where the soup used to be. The quality and choice of food has not improved. Prices keep rising and they no longer offer a free buffet to people who play blackjack for an hour. They also cut out the Refer Local deal. Someone told me that the casino got a new CEO several months back. If that is true, he/she needs to be careful as there are many other casinos within 100 miles that people can go to. Maybe Mohegan Sun should be considering to stop supplementing the Harness Racing industry and take care of the people who visit your casino.

  223. Joni Fink say:

Standing in line for the candle giveaway .. Pulling the higher level high rollers out of the line and letting them go first .. Seriously??? Doesn’t it state first come first served on your advertisement for this??? Over 2 hours in line and these people are just walking in and taken to the front??? What a crock!!!

  224. Robin Michelle Odom say:

Wonderful & very relaxing,, i was thrilled. Cant wait to visit again soon

  225. Gail Griffith say:

I had a marvelous time at Mohegan Sun normally i get board at casinos but nir yesterday it wasn’t enough time.

  226. Nicole Mcelroy say:

I went with a few friends as a check off the bucket list. It was ok. Indeed an experience. My friends and I played the penny slot machines and almost every time we sat at a different machine a lady would approach, asking if we’d like a drink. Well, in the last instance, she stated we finish our first drink before asking for another. We are not alcoholics and the amount of ice in the cup was indeed a lot. Forgive us if we did not swallow each complentary drink in one gulp. We had no issues really, but didn’t win enough to want to come back. The casino isn’t for us, I suppose.

  227. Melody Gillar Block say:

My husband and I decided to visited Mohegan Sun (on Saturday, October 21st) to give your property another chance. The last time we were at your casino was around the middle of April 2017. At that time, “changes for the better” were being implemented. From what we experienced…this was definitely NOT the case.

In regards to the buffet: Supposedly you made improvements. My question is exactly where were they made? We were seated at 5:30pm on Saturday, October 21st. Where was the selection and where was the quality? Most of the items were cheap everyday selections and many of the stations looked like they were only 75% full (if that much). I went over to get mussels and there were none to be had, so I asked the person at that station if there were more coming out. His response was that they would be out soon. Over the next 45 minutes to one hour, I kept checking on the status of the mussels, and even asked other workers in the area. Finally, they were brought out to the station more than one hour after we were seated. Of course, by the time they were brought out, I was finished with the main meal – so I couldn’t even enjoy the one thing that I was actually looking forward to having. Very disappointing.

As far as the dessert station – it would have been nice if someone was there to man it. There was a line or 8-10 people waiting for ice cream – and not a single worker could be found in that area. The station also needed to be restocked, as there were very few items left. The desserts were average at best. Very disappointing.

When the buffet was closed in April, we were told that the experience was being upgraded. Just where was this upgrade? In the quality…no. In the selection…no. In the service…no. The only “change” we saw was that the dessert station was moved up front and was now a circular area.
    Very disappointing.

And, what has happened to your level of service? The people who used to work in all areas of your property (restaurants, casino floor, etc.) used to be so friendly and nice to deal with. You also seem to be quite understaffed. Very disappointing.

Add to this that you no longer have free valet parking and that you’ve also taken away most of the perks that we’d enjoyed when coming to your property. Very disappointing.

I think that your new management needs to take a good look at the “damage” they have done with the horrible changes they have made. It’s no wonder that the casino wasn’t even slightly crowded on a Saturday night.

I don’t think that we’ll be coming back — ever.

  228. Barbara Reese say:

We visited last Saturday and received the worst service from the waitresses. My husband and I visit frequently and have never had a bad experience! Put a smile on please!

  229. Betsy Joy Jackson Husain say:

The Valet parking was a nightmare! Waited 20 minutes to drop the car off and 40 minutes to get it back! Mohegan Sun Pocono knew they had an event with over 300 people and yet failed to properly staff their Valet service.

  230. Anita Cantolina Witherite say:

It’s okay. We go every year around this time for the last 4 years. Used to love going there, but we were disappointed this year. They made a lot of changes, took out a lot of slots and replaced there with a lot of the same type of slots, so there wasn’t a lot of variety. Also, the casino offered more incentives, like free slot play, but they didn’t offer any this year. Had the buffet at Timbers and was very disappointed with the selection and the taste of the food. Again, we loved it in the past but not so much this year. Although, we very much our hotel stay! Staff was very friendly and courteous!

  231. Sonja Dauble Sabella say:

Loved it! Room was very nice and clean! And I like the set up of the casino and restaurant. We will definitely come back!

  232. Valerie Elston say:

What happened to the wine shop? I really enjoyed their wine.

  233. Joanna Delio say:

Been coming to your casino for 10 years or so, your recent “ improvements” have made things so much worse. The buffet was never good but it’s a steady decline to nearly inedible. Worst of all – you changed valet to a fee but here’s the thing, if you want me to pay for valet. I️ expect prompt, good service – the last 4 times I️ was there the valet line to get into the casino extended all the way down the road to nearly where you would turn in to get to valet. We waited over an hour the last time as well once we were ready to retrieve our cars. It’s been horrendous ( I’m not faulting the valet workers I️ see how hard they work but they are dealing with a broken system that needs to be fixed ) . Also, I️ was playing a slot machine for over an hour and a half and in that time someone came around once to ask if anyone wanted drinks. I️ used to love coming here. Please improve things

  234. Marlana Triggs say:

The beds are way too high..$15 charge to get a fridge in the room. The comps are horrible. 1st visit spent several thousand, got a $10 comp towards room service. This visit another several thousand spent..$7 food comp..The front desk Ryan insisted we had to use a pin number to use our credit card..when we asked why he told me we can speak to his manager..i don’t know credit card pin numbers..we had to use our debit card and surprisingly didn’t have to use a pin number..makes no sense..the room service option is minimal.you can only get a few things from Wolfgang puck, none of the other restaurants offer room service..we get treated 100 times better in mount airy and resorts

  235. Diana Cruickshanks-Little say:

My husband is a truck driver and we had to park there for the night to sleep in his truck we had a fabulous time the the shuttle bus came and picked us up we had a nice time gambling we donated we did not win the cocktail servers were very friendly the first cocktail server told my husband that he wasn’t playing at that moment so he couldn’t get a drink which I used to be a cocktail server so I know what they’re saying but we did put a lot of money into it.all the other girls gave us drink very nicely to you .we went to a restaurant Italian restaurant very very nice Rustic Kitchen waitresses and waiters were very polite and we talked for a long time they were very nice the food was very good and we had no issues we will definitely go back

Security treats people like animals. No respect when talking to you, very rude, and uneducated with their own policies. I urge people not to spend any money here. Let then know that we deserve to be treated with some class. Get them where it hurts, their wallets.

My husband lost his Driver license the staff was more than rude in trying to help. At the one podium where the hotel lobby was the man stared at us coming off the floor to go into the hotel to ask for his ID when we came back he rudely prompted us for ID even though the front desk called saying my husband lost his ID thankfully he had his identification card on him had security called more than 5 people came up to him rudely and stated he needed to get off the floor even though we had gambled almost for 3 hours there. Just overall very very rude staff except for the man in the front tying to help us find his ID we are avid gamblers here and are leap members and have never been treated like such dirt. Throwing my card away a resorting to mount airy.

Your recent “improvements” have completely ruined the fun atmosphere I once enjoyed. Everything you’ve changed has made coming here a bad experience.
